Frankly

I don’t have much to say. I just celebrated my two year wedding anniversary (for really real) and the Take-Outs took home the Envy Cup for the second year in a row. I am up to my eyeballs in derby. I am making the trek from Columbus to Austin this weekend to watch the best of the best so maybe someday I can be the best of the best too. Travel season starts now for us, and while our first game isn’t until November, it’s time to fully devote ourselves to this team instead of our home teams (which is preferable to the bopping back and forth, but I sure will miss the Take-Outs).
I am going on my first cruise ever in less than two weeks! I am very excited, but also a little fearful of: 1. Sharks 2. Motion Sickness 3. Sleeping through the whole week 4. Displaying white fleshy grossness in a bathing suit 5. The sun. 6. Falling off the boat 7. Revealing my foul mouth to my in-laws.

That’s it. Also I am back in school, which so far so boring, but since you need a certain piece of paper to be considered qualified for life I will trudge onward.

What are you looking to go into?

Kind of the issue. I get to go to classes free at the primarily business university I currently work at. Since my heart sings for the humanities, this kind of puts a damper on things. (Though eventually probably to my benefit, because I wasn't certain where my English degree was going to get me anyway) I'm still interested in library science (your field, right?) but I have to get through undergrad first. I think I'm going to end up in web development, just because at least then I will be acquiring a skill.

Sweet! We need to start a roller derby librarian club. Well, someone does...

Either way, going back to school=good!
